Hey, I am Junyang!
My name is Junyang Deng (邓君扬). I am a Master’s student in Computational Biology and Quantitative Genomics at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Currently, I work as a Graduate Researcher in the Department of Biostatistics advised by Dr. Rong Ma.
I obtained a B.Sc. in Bioinformatics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), and spent a semester as a visiting student at UC Berkeley. Most recently, I was a Data Scientist Intern at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, working on digital pathology.
My research interests sit at the intersection of multimodal integration and clinical decision-making. I am passionate about building interpretable machine learning methods for high dimensional biomedical data, especially in the context of single-cell, spatial omics and biomedical imaging data.
